If I can point to one way which astrology has enhanced my life and the lives of those around me, it has been through increasing my tolerance of others and my understanding of innate difference. This has been a truly helpful development for someone who had very firm attachment to the ideas of being right, and my way being therefore the most logical and favourable way of being.
Over the course of my life so far I have had the privilege to meet many people and learning their charts has been ever so helpful in quieting the voice inside my head which wanted to hit them over the head with mallets. Being able to sit comfortably with difference is a challenge, and one I've nowhere near sussed but the Living With and Loving Posts will be a log of my attempts to do so.
Thus, on the subject of 12th house moons...
In astrology the Moon represents our emotional and instinctive self. Where the Moon falls in our chart (by sign, house and aspect) describes something about our primal, innermost self: our hungers, our needs, how and where we seek security.
The 12th house describes the unconscious, the hidden. It is the vastest, and the most mysterious of astrological houses. Trying to see its contents is as useless and as dangerous as trying to discern how deep the ocean by looking at its surface. The only way to experience the 12th house is to sink into it with eyes closed, using intuition and sideways senses and allowing its contents to rise up and meet you, like the distant ancestoral memories we carry unaware most often of the voices which sing in our blood, whisper in our bones.
The 12th house obscures whatever it contains, and its contents are not easily reachable. Attempting to grab a part of us that it's in the 12th is very much similar to fishing - direction and depth are illusory, things slip from our grasps, float to us in their own time, of their own accord.
On the subject of how to spot a 12th house moon, astrologer Alexander von Schlieffen gives a deeply helpful definition; namely that with a 12th house moon person their needs are hidden, elusive, both from themselves and others around them.
I verified the truth of that when I met my husband.
Although his Moon is in the fire sign of Aries (the warrior, the hero; the bearer of courage, arrogance, drive, aggression) and trine a fiery Sun in Sagittarius, its placement in the 12th house obscures everything. While this has its benefits for my rather sensitive nature (he is not aggressive, he doesn't yell) in most aspects it's taken a lot of adjustment (my own Moon is in the 3rd house of ideas and communication, my own needs and emotions are easily verbalisable and plain and obvious to me).
So, here's a list of useless questions to ask a 12th house Moon (unless you are looking for an excuse to work yourself into a froth of frustration):
How do you feel? ("Don't know, can't put it into words.")
What are your needs? (A wide-handed shrug that equates needs to vastness and unquantifiability of the sea; "I don't know")
What do you want? ("I don't know"; "What do you want?")
Can you remember how you felt about that? ("I don't know how to put it into words"; "I cannot find the words to explain how I feel about you either, words are so inadequate, I just feel".)
What are your boundaries? ("I don't know, but when you cross them we'll both know.")
What makes you happy? ("When you're happy.")
In short, a recipe for insanity if you're looking for any kind of a straight answer.
A recipe for suspicion or interest too, if you happen to have a probing Scorpio Moon intrigued by the fact that your normally very keen sense about other people (what makes them tick, where they shine, where they are vulnerable, what they're feeling) is being completely eluded by a 12th house moon person who is ephemeral, keeps slipping away. It takes a different tactic to catch this fish.
You must use patience, and subtlety. Enter its world. Wait with no probing questions, no sudden movements. Move with eyes closed, or using only peripheral vision. Do not startle, do not rush. Gather what information is given and wait for more, wait until the fish swims closer, reveals itself to you. And when the fish comes to you do not frighten it, do not violate its trust by grasping it and hurting it. Respect what you are shown, and honoured with. Swim in its own world, drift with it.
It has taken me three years (and some Pluto transits) to see my husband's naked core, his raw emotions. To be trusted with his secret self. And the experience was all the more special for the waiting.

Beautifully said about the 12th house! I've got a friend with a heavy Cancer 12th house; it's very true :)
Whew....that was amazingly put...you have left me with tears in my eyes and alot of movement in my chest area!!
(I have 12th house scorpio moon and my husband has 12th house pisces moon)
your description is amazing...i am a male...yet single with moon in aries in 12th house....
any tips for me...
Nice to know. I just started dating a Scorpio with moon in cancer in the 12th house. I am a Virgo with moon in taurus in the 12th house. A few weeks ago, we just stopped calling each other. For an entire week and a half! Finally, he texted me, "Are you not talking to me?"... Um, the phone works both ways right? But, it seems he sent me a text and I didn't receive it, so it was never answered and neither of us picked up the phone, we just dropped it off there... Well, we picked things back up where we left them, and it's going great... I guess, I'll have to remember what happened if I don't hear from him for a few days again, and give him a call...?
Hello,
My moon is in the 12th as well. I loved your description of this placement. It was beautiful, I'm saving it. You're husband is lucky to have such a loving and understanding person by his side!
The man that I love has moon in scorpio and like you probes me with his questions. I take time to reveal myself. It's not intentional witholding or deceit. I'm just very shy, sensitive. Deep down i'm easily hurt. Feelings are very precious and sacred to me. One of the reasons I love this man is because unlike others he wants to know what's going on with me, and asks me those questions that you listed up there.I don't give an answer aloud because I'm afraid but say it inside silently when he asks me. Deep inside I like the probing because it shows that he cares, he wants to know about me. Inside I feel flattered, even though I never say it. Sometimes people think i'm distant and misunderstand me. Previous men didn't care or bother to ask. Maybe they weren't aware of how much passion and love a 12th house moon hides because we conceil it. I will reveal the full scale of my emotions to this man in time little by little when i feel totally safe with him.
Moon in the 12th house is often associated with unloving mother(moon). It's malefic, afflicted moon. It is true my mother never loved me because of her own issues and bad marriage, but kids think that parents are there for them any time. Only when I grew up I realized she didn't, she actually sabotaged me in many areas. But again children don't expect but full trust and unconditional support from their parents. This is why I think I'm withdrawn. but 12th house people deep down are dying to open the gates of their own universal spiritual love. This is one more reason why I love this man, because slowly I am trusting him and starting to open up, to him of course.
Truly inspiring...I have a 12th house moon and I could so relate to the useless questions. I just don't know. It's all so much bigger than me. I also had a mother who couldn't love me or nurture me and while its not the end all be all of my life, it does explain some things.
I loved the article! It took me years of reading astrology books to understand my 12th house Moon in Leo (still learning about it though :)
It takes a lot of care and warmth from the environment for a 12th house Moon to open up and feel secure.
I have a 12th house moon in aries and it is in the realm of the unconsious and its shifting sands where I feel comfortable, safe and at peace. With aries in the 12th house, this 'zone' is protected from unwelcome visitors in true warrior spirit - often to the surprise and disbelief of those dumb enough to test the waters disrespectfully. On a more solemn note, the spiritual realms are tread fearlessly and vigorously.
Wow! You just totally described me! I have moon in cancer in the 12th. oddly enough i was pursued by a heavy scorpio person, sun, moon, venus, mer, jupiter in scorpio. When i was reading the question and answer part I thought.. 'wow, this is exactly how I sound, esp when my scorpio guy is asking me a billion questions.' He always tells me that i am not aloud to say 'i dont know' anymore! I thought to my self that i should send this to him! I also have sun in pisces as well as merc in pisces, so this is me to the extreme!
Oh i wanted to add that my sun and merc in pisces is in the 8th house, and i have pluto in scorpio in the 4th..
well ive got a guy in my life with this 12th house position and im trying to read as much as possible on it, cuz i really dont understand it !?! i mean i know and i feel that he is in love with me , but he does nothing about it ! and when i try to push it, it goes 2 steps back, really 12 steps backwards as far as forward progress to get him to bind with me. im thinking of just moving away cuz now i live in dissapointment here that ill always be alone in love here. and life being short as it may, ill go back to ny or elsewhere it seems love takes too long if ever to congeal in this island by cuba, others give this same complaint of men here.but the long terrm mooon wait fish analogy was quiet poetic and profound, certainly worth a reconsider, but at least u were married marriage implies hope, wheres my hope when nothing is being done by gesture on his part to concretize things????? his taurus sun/venus are also in my fifth house if anyone interested in input/suggestion comments for as to how i should proceed
also we have a sun square jupiter and jupiter square saturn aspect as well if anyone knows ???
moon in my 12 th house of sagitarrius, good aspect is the tauars & sun conjunct my fifth house
ANY ALL help appreciated
Your advices struck a chord on me! I'm a third house Cancer sun, seventh house libra moon, venus in gemini in the 3rd and for me it seems the natural path of feelings are to be communicated. However, I date a Scorpio 4th house Sun, 12th house Cancer Moon and my all around inquisitive and curious ways get frustrated when it is about making him speak about what he feels. Wow, now I understand him so much better! Thanks.
When I was a kid I didn't speak for 2 years.I thought to myself who are these people(my Family)all fire signs. It was like they were speaking a foreign language. My mother got my ears checked and hid my pacifier.I found it again every time, because I knew her better than she knew me. She did everything except talk to me.I'm a virgo 12th house aquarius moon.I'm glad I lived with such forceful people they got me to be forceful too.And you're right for some weird reason we need to be reminded that you care and that we can trust you so we can keep talking to you otherwise we just keep to ourselves.
was the last commmet by anonymous directed to me? i got an email from you or this webpage?
does anybody do cahrts on astrology, if anyone can help me to decipher this guy
wow - so beautifully said. i have 12th house cancer sun and 4th house scorpio moon and can totally relate. only men who can handle or 'see' me are those with scorpio energy who 'approach' me in the manner you described. it's taken many years of therapy and failed relationships to honor this. have a wonderful marriage, you two are soul mates.
I agree with what most everyone has been saying...I'm a female cappy sun with a moon in my 12th house....and it's in cancer. I've just recently started reading about astrology.
The combination of the capricorn aloofness, and with the 12th moon not tending to verbalize what we want...in this case cancerian emotionality, has been hard to deal with as a woman.
Guys generally have no idea how to go about cracking my tough capricorn shell, and when they finally do, then hit the whirling misty 12th moon vulnerability about my emotions, they generally don't know what to do from there. Surprise surprise, it's been a scorpio sun who actually managed to get past that the first time.
I wish that more people understood this, as I have a lot of sagittarius-lover traits, and really DO want that cancerian closeness. I
m glad you could verbalize it for those of us who can't haha
I probably shouldn't but i take it to offense that the moon in 12th house usually means the mom wasn't such a good mom or there were just problems in general with that relationship. I am reading this because I am concerned about my 17 month old son's chart. Between this placement with his libra moon in 12th house and his venus oppposite saturn (that also says mom probably didn't know how to love you or give you self confidence) I am at a loss. I feel like I have been dubbed a bad mom before I had a chance. I love my baby he is the light of my life! Please someone with these aspects or placements tell me this is not true. His sun is capricorn, moon libra, venus pisces, saturn virgo. My sun is aquarius, moon leo, venus aries, saturn scorpio. Help!
It's great you wrote this!
So true, I never knew how I felt or wanted in life.
I've been looking for moon in the 12th house people!
I'm a moon in Taurus, sun in Libra.
VERY PEACEFUL! YES?
My Leo mom has been nagging at me forever, I always felt ugly when I was a kid. She criticized me every day. Of course I wasn't!
It's like she doesn't want to grant me freedom with obscure reasons.
That's why I've always felt happier away from home . . .
Anonymous.
I don't think you'll be a bad mother.
My mom has just been overprotective and overcritical.
Everything she's doing is for my own good. She loves me. But most of the time she's taking away my freedom and hurts me unconsciously.
You'll be a great mom :)
This is a really beautiful post. I can't really explain how it made me feel...
Understood.
I have Scorpio Moon in the 12th house and hope to find someone who is as patient as you are at uncovering the mysteries.
Your hubby is lucky.
Hmmm Both my brother and I have the moon in the twelve house. We are both introspective and intuitive writers, very in touch with our core selves..
Hey anonymous that said this:

Here's my response: I am Sun in Aquarius, Libra Moon in the 12th house, Venus in Aquarius and Saturn in opposite sign of Leo. You wanted confirmation of motherly love and self confidence... well I had it. In fact that's the only part I don't relate to with this blog. I totally never felt like my mother didn't love me enough or provide me with the tools for self-confidence. Quite the opposite actually... most times I felt like she was 'too involved'. Probing questions, etc. I look to her South Node in Leo for her controlling default patterns. I honestly don't think if you were loved or unloved has anything to with it. I still can relate to this 100%. And don't ask me how I actually feel about this post cause I really don't know.
hi
a soul come into this world seeking to experience and transcend the chart, hopefully, in the course of a life time. It is not necessary that you`ll be bad mother, the chart will indicate the experience that your son might have of receiving love. At times, at that age, I believe his perception is very subtle. Example: the bond is so strong that you do not need to act "bad", he might just sense you are stressed out, a little bit cold and that is his perception etc
But his venus is exalted in Pisces, and this is very important detail that you should add to the picture as there is a lot of love there. Also, what is the orb? what houses does venus rule?
It is the usual question of fate/vs free will: you are born with that chart and the awareness you have of yourself will help you out overcoming or evolving into a more complete individual. I have a 12 house libra moon, conjunct uranus square saturn - 25 minutes orb - and my mom loved me dearly - there are issue there but I cannot absolutely say she is a bad mom, actually possibly, she is one of the best mom I could ever asked for.
I am fairly new to astrology. Learning how to navigate my own challenges is my inspiration for learning.
I found this article while researching my very own moon in the 12th.
I am a 12th house moon Aries and with a slew of planets currently transiting Aries, I have been feeling the energies pulling in every direction.
The article was very insightful. I could relate to many of the comments as well.
In past relationships, I have found it most frustrating when a partner probes me with questions. It almost felt intrusive...as if there was a lack of trust. I have learned that this is in fact not the case. Although I perceive myself as outwardly emotional, I have learned that others do not share in my opinion.
There was one particular comment by an anonymous poster which struck a chord. She says, "...but 12th house people deep down are dying to open the gates of their own universal spiritual love." I think this describes me completely.
I too had a mother who was not as nurturing and loving as I needed. And, that has infact put a strain on our relationship. But, it has also made me aware of the need of my own child for it is not important to give what I feel is "enough" love, as it is to ensure that she is receiving what she NEEDS from me. For me it's all about perception.
The current Aries transits of Jupiter, Mars, Mercury, Venus, and Uranus (all of which are touching my moon) are awakening in me emotions that I believe have been dormant. I know there are lessons to be learned here although what they are still eludes me.
thank you for this beautiful and inspiring article. my ex is a 12th house moon person and i can "see" him in this article- his emotional depth is unparalleled. thanks.
Hi,
I have Cancer Moon in 12th House. One thing I like about having moon in 12th house is that I don't get depressed if I am lonely. Also my imagination runs wilder than anyone else's I know and I can entertain myself for hours without seeing other people or spending any money and I am very good at keeping secrets. Mind my other 4 planets are all in 1st house Leo. :)
I relate so well to this article. And to the comments. I have often wondered if this placement, moon in the 12th house is one of the most sensitive. I love the depth and I feel there is a strong self in 12 house moon people. Even when self undoing is a recurrent theme.
Here's a poem of Charles Bukowski who has moon in the 12th house. One of my personal favorites.
The laughing heart:
your life is your life
don’t let it be clubbed into dank submission.
be on the watch.
there are ways out.
there is a light somewhere.
it may not be much light but
it beats the darkness.
be on the watch.
the gods will offer you chances.
know them.
take them.
you can’t beat death but
you can beat death in life, sometimes.
and the more often you learn to do it,
the more light there will be.
your life is your life.
know it while you have it.
you are marvelous
the gods wait to delight
in you.
Hi.
I too have a natal 12th house moon (how-ever cojunct Ascendant) in Scorpio. Also, moon is opposite mercury and squared off to Pluto.
My life has not been easy. It seems like I have to many secrets that I can't share. My sexual identity is confused, most usually immersed with soda-masochistic fantasies. I am in my 50's and never have been married.
Emotionally speaking, I had been mostly confused. I had been in therapy for almost 20 years. I still suffer from depression and anxiety, often feeling stuck and having no life goals, but rather just trying to get through the day. Amazingly enough, I was fortunate to stay with one job and retired a millionaire from stock market gains.
But this job allowed me to "hide out", it was in sales and I was most generally able to set appointments around my schedule, allowing me vast amounts of time to get therapy and work on myself. Pluto in my chart also comes into contact with every natal planet in one way or another...yes, a very busy looking chart...a Jack of all trades and a master of none!
Questions, feel free to ask away!
Oh...here is my natal chart + transits

Thank you for that it has confirmed for me what intuitively felt was the best approach. My wife is a Leo with a Aries moon in the 12 house. You put it beautifully.

I have a 12th house moon in virgo, but this article doesnt resonate with me at all..I have no difficulty expressing myself or knowing what I need and feel, but I am SUPER depressed usually knowing that I cant have anything I want or need. But its my karma, I have to live with it. My mom is very loving, but very sick, so I always feel the need to take care of her, same for my brother (mental probs)..I feel the need to take care of him. Yes, I do get kind of overboard caring for people, and then I want solitude. I LOVE solitude. I LOVE to write and express myself.
I think it is true what you write. Personally I can also express myself very well and know how I feel and what I want. It is only that I get blocked or do not know when someone asks me up front questions or attacks me. It is in the approach what counts. Gently from the sidelines so to speak will do wonders and benefits both parties. I abhor sharpness or direct confrontations. Sadly I find nowadays the interactions are more harsh, this is when I need to isolate and write or ponder.
Moon in scorpio 12th house
I have a question. I have been dating a moon/venus in scorpio man both 12 house. He actually told me "hes gets off on being withholding." Is this common? He comes in, withdraws, comes in, withdraws....it's such a roller coaster. But he never fully leaves....always there.
hi
i have moon, jupiter, saturn all together in 12th house.i know many mysteries but no one understands m unable to tell and explain.can u help me any how???
Rupa.
Haha! Reading this just made me realize how screwed I am! Lol! I'm a Scorpio sun, Virgo rising, with a ton of planets in Sagittarius .... I'm so in depth analytical and self aware... But about what I couldn't tell you!?!?! My moon is 12th house Leo! Guess the jokes on me? Thanks universe. That's just so funny (not).
I have a 12th house moon and a very loving mother.

I like some of wht I have seen on this site... the article about the husbands 12th house moon is good... I have been studying astrology since 1977 and I still haven't learned enough. I have a 12th moon, but conjunct the asc... I have asc in sag, moon in sag mercury in sag and Saturn in sag... oh, and the part of forturn...all but the moon are in the first house... Then, my sun is in the 12th too, at 29dgrees 59 min scorpio and that is based on a hospital birth certificate... I have worked all my life on trying to be responsible and practical... and at the same time mix that with the understanding of "other" ... but all is not well... finding it harder to fit into the "system"... I thought I was doing okay but at this stage in my life .... it's not working .....I really never did want to fit in to the system, necessarily... but, Saturn on the asc... conjuct the moon... kinda pushed me to try...

I want to try to be concise and make a point, I have tons of FIRE in my chart, however, so I promise to TRY. hahaha. I am surrounded in my life by practical and very emotionally private people. Many children, grandchildren, husbands, present and x's...and I find it interesting that more open and fiery/airy people are constantly having to work hard to accept and what I consider pansy really in the end to these emotionally sensitive, private, reticent, secretive "I don't know how I feel" people. I ask my children and husband all the time "why don't YOU have to try to expand and come OUT more to meet me on the road? Why am I expected to try so hard to 'understand' them. Why aren't they asked to work hard at meeting us OUT there people more. I think this is a better conversation to have, since what we are saying here is that it is important to use astrology to understand others. I think this way of thinking about 'respecting' the emotionally private people is codependent in a sense and if it's a wife, it's really quite sexist as men are already given a carte blanche to be mysterious and quiet and not share. I say BALANCE and I've worked for 25 years with my Scorpio and my Cancers and my Pisces and the 12th house energies [not to mention 4th and 8th] to push them to NOT make me FEEL MY FIRE is overwhelming but JUST as valid and wonderful as their need and tendency too often to hide and pull out their 'I don't know how I feel card.' Well, dag it. Put some energy into it then AND SHARE!
No one person should have to carry the COMMUNICATION load. thank you and goodnight

Offline, I avoid/ignore people like Vivi. Self-centered and loud. I can hear them coming way before they speak. Instead of forcing people to communicate with you, ask yourself what's in it for them other than a headache?
I have moon and south node in my 12th house in sagiterious, i personally always knew what i was looking for even as a child but its always been out of reach and blury in how to get it. And now i feel and accepted that its not possible for me to have it. Its like going after water in the desert. However i have been practicing my spiritual life for over 10 years and recently i have tried to divert that 12 house energy into that direction. Surrendering to it realising its actually a strengh.
Also i have had years of suffering with my relationship with my mother but i learnt a lot through it, to be tolerent, empathy, to understand the person i want to be and the way i want to treat others regardless of how they may treat me.

Wow. I love this post so much. I feel deeply sensitive. I have pisces ascendant and I have moon in the 12th house too. My moon is in Aquarius though. And my sun in Aries. I think it's a weird combo but I like it. Anyways I definitely feel a lot of this. My mom and I have a bad relationship i just want to get away from her and she just puts stress on my sensitive self and makes me feel awful and suffocated. She smothers me actually and then she travels a lot, and say oh I miss you so much. And we don't even get along. We have lots of conflict. And she is not emotionally here for me and didn't nurture me but instead smothered me with material items thinking that's love but it's not. She doesn't love me for me I know that. And it hurts but I don't care anymore. She doesn't really know me actually. I feel so much I need someone to feel with me. Someone I can pour out to. I had a cancer moon friend that always knew what to do for me I love him.
Through the free astrology prediction know the interesting things about the life.
This is a lovely and poetic exposition of the moon in the 12th house. My 12th house moon is square Saturn, Uranus, Venus, Pluto and Chiron. It is opposite Jupiter, North Node, it is conjunct South Node. It is moderated somewhat with a Sun trine and a Mars sextile. I survived the suicide attempts and therapy has helped a lot, the midlife crisis was intense but I have a loving wife and family. My mother is mentally unhinged and really bent me out of shape when I was a baby and child. Abandonment, abuse and neglect featured prominently. I often deeply and sincerely wish I was never born. I don't regard life as a gift. The cruelty I see to the innocents of the world drives me out of my mind. I have been forced to work with and understand my emotions as a matter of survival. I survive only for the love of others and as much as I do now love myself I would leave by my own hand if I had no attachments. Such an afflicted moon has given me the understanding that life is not for everybody. The light of Astrology has been amazing to at least give me some perspective and understanding.
Reading through all the comments makes me feel that at least I am not alone to feel the way I have always felt - the sense of not being understood by others though I definitely wish otherwise. I am a female with Moon in Cap in the 12th.
Many whom I meet in my life just somehow missed getting to know me enough for me to open up to them
:(. This seems to be true of my male friends as well.
I can and definitely enjoy alone time but life can be so much more fun if there is someone there to share your ups and downs and your fears.
Hope those who are trying hard to understand their loved ones with moon in the 12th will hang on there and reach us halfway as we make our way out to the open:). I am quite sure that the wait will be a worthwhile one.
My Moon is in Aries, 12th house, and thank you for your words... as you've stated, it's hard for us to know & express. And yes, my Mother had no clue, and yes, I do have karma with her. My Black Moon Lilith falls on her exact Sun's degree in Virgo. I'm grateful for my life, & for Jupiter in my 12th also, for I live to learn, and I have!! I believe it's healed now. Amen.
I have 12th house SCORPIO moon conjunct pluto, trine pisces sun. Sometimes I feel like a walking waterfall, and can also relate to the useless questions.
Any advice on how to help my partner help me? He gets very frustrated when I cant straight forward my explain myself and thinks I'm hiding the truth. How can I explain or help him deal with it? Has your husband helped or have you learned any good techniques to swim through times of high emotions.
I have moon in Pisces in the 12th house and my husband has Virgo moon in 12th house. Maybe that is why we can be very sensitive with each other feelings.
My sun moon mercury and Venus are in Aries in the 12th house in Pisces and Pisces trines my Asc of taurus moon conjucts Asc as well overwhelming emotional tides elusive emotionally tense emotionally intuitive withdrawn reclusive shy moody and like some of you difficult childhood mothers mentally I'll and absolute absent father adopted and 18 years later at 29 I met my mother again dying of cancer tense
Let me add a few things here having this position in my chart. Experiences define our emotional needs. The solitude allows us to process those experiences which affect us emotionally. Time gives us perspective on those experiences which caused such a strong initial emotional reaction. We don't know where it came from other than it was a visceral reaction from deep within. Emotional wounds do not heal but can be transcended by a single close partnership especially if that partner can see into our souls and offer some perspective on ourselves with humor. The most helpful suggestion I received from my astrology instructor was to remind myself when I experience the weirdness that is the 12th house moon that other people have the same experiences.
I actually agree with vivi! I have moon and saturn in the 12th house as well as tons of 8th sun, pluto and mercury so I deeply relate to feelings of being misunderstood and confused about how I truly feel most of the time. But in the same sense, I am also fire dominant and I swing from one extreme to the next at times. And I do agree that although I wish for more people would take time out and really make an effort to understand my shyness and reservations before judging, I need to also put equal effort to reach out and understand others who are bolder and more openly fiery than I am. As that quote goes, sometimes we want to be understood so badly that we forget to be understanding. And I do find that these kind of water house energies are loved so much more in men especially by women because it gives them that mysterious vibe that I know so many women just love! Including myself to be honest. But in women, they are more just seen as moody and overly emotional. Anyways, I really appreciate posts like these because it makes so open a situation and an experience that so many people like myself feel so alone on.

To Anonymous speaking about his 12th-house Libra Moon child.
You should talk to your child about him, take interest in him, ask questions, but must not be probing, intrusive or insist on your opinions about everything that concerns him too much. This is a good start, believe me.
BEKA NICOLE,
Do you hide this side of your nature from other people in any manner?

O Allah, I consult You as You are All-Knowing and I appeal to You to give me power as You are Omnipotent, I ask You for Your great favor, for You have power and I do not, and You know all of the hidden matters . O Allah ! If you know that this matter (then the person reciting the du’a should mention the matter for which he is seeking Allah’s Guidance) is good for me in my religion, my livelihood, and for my life in the Hereafter, (or he said: ‘for my present and future life,’) then make it (easy) for me.
And if you know that this matter is not good for me in my religion, my livelihood and my life in the Hereafter, (or he said: ‘for my present and future life,’) then keep it away from me and take me away from it and choose what is good for me wherever it is and please me with it.
